Follow the instructions below to get your own proudblue.social handle

Enter your current handle
Choose your new handle
Change your handle within the Bluesky app
Change your handle on your BlueSky account:
In the BlueSky App, go to Settings > Account > Handle >.
Tap/Click on I have my own domain.
Tap/Click on No DNS Panel tab.
In the Enter the domain you want to use box enter your new handle.
Tap/Click Verify Text File button.
After Domain verified, Tap/Click Update to....
And that is it. Either immediately, or after a short while, your handle should update. In the meantime, head over to the proudblue.social community page to find people to follow!

Original Handle Reservation
If you change your default Bluesky username (with the .bsky.social suffix) to a custom domain handle, your old .bsky.social username will be reserved for you. You no longer need to create a second account to reserve your most recent .bsky.social username. For every account, only your most recent .bsky.social username is reserved for you, and this reservation does not expire.
Handle Rules
We reserve the right to remove and delete, without prior notice, any handles created: where the name contains profanity or is otherwise offensive, any handles which are intended to be deceptive or impersonate another person, and any handles which infringe on the rights or trademarks of another person.
Privacy Policy
What data do we collect?
To enable you to use a custom handle, we collect your Bluesky DID code (when you enter your current handle) and store it against the handle you choose, as well as a timestamp of when this action took place.
We also cache basic profile information that is collected from the Bluesky API, in order to populate our community page.
No other data is collected from you or stored. We do not store browser useragent, country of origin or IP address or anything other than what has been declared above.
How will we use your data?
For the duration that the custom handle you create is in use, we reserve the right to use it in promotional activity, such as a find other members page, or imagery promoting or illustrating the service.
Only active handles will be featured in this list, so you can remove yourself at any time by discontinuing use of the custom handle. There may be a short delay while our system processes the change.
